Who will you be working with?
You will be part of the Business Program management team, working closely with cross-functional departments including engineering, sourcing, product, and technology transfer teams. You will also collaborate directly with our customer and the LKZ plant to ensure the successful execution of locomotive and diesel engine projects in Kazakhstan.
How will you make a difference?
As a Project Management Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of locomotive and diesel engine projects in Kazakhstan. You will be responsible for delivering contractual obligations on time, supporting the full cycle of locomotive acceptance at the LKZ plant, and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, you will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cost optimization within the PMO organization.
What do we want to know about you?
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, service, or product quality.
At least 2 years of experience in project management within engineering or field services.
Project Management certification is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of rail products is required.
Fluent in Russian and English, knowledge of Kazakh is an advantage.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
Legal authorization to work in Kazakhstan is required.
What will your typical day look like?
Ensure on-time execution of deliverables outlined in commercial contracts.
Maintain daily communication with customers to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
Support the full locomotive acceptance cycle at the LKZ plant: planning, building, quality control, sign-off.
Prepare and maintain a project risk matrix.
Provide operational support to LKZ under the guidance of the Senior Program Manager.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve project-related issues.
Deliver timely and accurate project status reports.
Drive process improvements within the PMO organization.
Operate within the project budget and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
