Could you be the full-time Site Head of Finance Project Management (FPM) in Astana we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your financial management expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and collaborative teammates.
You'll play a key role in steering the financial performance of our projects and supporting their successful execution. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Project Management, Operations, Manufacturing, Platforms, Legal), lead financial reviews, and coach the Site FPM community to drive improvements in agility, simplification, and efficiency.
You’ll specifically take care of project accounting and financial compliance but also contribute to tools and process improvements across the organization.
We’ll look to you for:
Preparing and presenting executive summaries on project finance elements to Cluster Finance Directors and top-level management
Participating in project reviews and internal validations for all projects
Supporting the launch of complex projects and those requiring financial maturity
Monitoring and analyzing project performance indicators like Gross Margin (GM), Risk & Opportunity (R&O), and Project Performance Indicator (PPI)
Driving the deployment of lessons learned (REX) within the Site
Contributing to the development and digitalization of the FPM community through training, webinars, and staffing initiatives

Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or finance (MBA or Master’s in finance preferred)
+8 years of experience in finance, with solid expertise in project finance management
Experience in project accounting, contracts, risk management, and reporting
Proficiency in MS Excel and SAP
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (fluency in other languages is a plus)
FPM certification (desirable)
Previous experience in railway or industrial projects (an advantage)
Competencies in integrity, resilience, coordination, communication, and leadership
Strategic thinking and the ability to influence and partner with others
