Position Key Goal
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reconciliation and settlement processes between merchants, providers, banks, and internal systems, while supporting financial control, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
Key business processes
Reconciliation and analysis of financial data across processing, reporting, and accounting systems.
Preparation of management and financial reports.
Support of internal control, accounting, and regulatory compliance processes.
Automation and optimization of reconciliation and reporting workflows.
Collaboration with internal teams and external partners (technical team, compliance, accounting, merchants, providers).
Job Functions
1. Treasury & Operational Finance
Collect, interpret, review, and analyze financial data from operational reports.
Prepare financial reports including budgets, client payments, expenses, and other key metrics.
Actively participate in automating reconciliation processes between processing, reporting, and accounting platforms.
Provide ad-hoc financial and accounting-related support to Company Management as needed.
2. Financial Control & Reporting
Maintain and prepare internal financial reports (cash flow, merchant reconciliation, provider reconciliation, management reports).
Support variance analysis and alignment of financial and operational data.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across systems.
3. Risk & Compliance Support
Assist in preparing monthly/quarterly reports for AIFC and other local authorities.
Collaborate with Compliance and Legal teams to support KYC, AML, and other regulatory requirements.
4. Collaboration & Process Improvement
Build a bridge between operational finance/back office and accounting teams to provide timely and high-quality data for accounting purposes, through automation or semi-automation (Google Sheets, Power Query, Power BI).
Cooperate closely with the technical team to optimize and automate financial reporting within the payment processing platform/back office dashboard.
Take part in implementing and improving finance IT tools and systems.
Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and support operational excellence.
Required experience and background
2–3 years of experience in PSP/fintech/banking in financial operations, reconciliation, or settlements.
Solid understanding of accounting and management reporting principles, as well as financial analysis.
Hands-on experience with automation and data analysis tools (Google Sheets, Power Query, Power BI, Excel).
Knowledge of KYC/AML processes and regulatory requirements (experience with AIFC or similar regulators is a plus).
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
