Are you eager to kickstart your career in mergers and acquisitions? KPMG is looking for a motivated Intern to join our M&A, Deal Advisory Department in Astana or Almaty. Our M&A team specializes in guiding clients through the complexities of divestments and acquisitions, providing comprehensive support from initial planning to deal closure. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with top management and key stakeholders, assisting them in enhancing their business strategies through effective transactions.

As an Intern in M&A, you will:

• Support M&A transactions through technical assistance and participation in all stages.

• Collect and analyze information on potential transaction parties.

• Build financial models and conduct indicative pricing analyses.

• Prepare transaction documents such as information memoranda and teasers.

• Manage data room preparation and coordinate the due diligence process.

• Research market trends, key players, and potential targets.

• Draft marketing materials including pitches, proposals, and profiles.

• Contribute to various M&A-related tasks to support the team.

You’re the perfect match for this role if you:

• with at least a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in finance or economics.
• Have knowledge of financial accounting, valuation methodologies, and techniques.
• Are familiar with principal information and research sources such as Merger Market, Thomson Financial, Bloomberg, SPARK, and Factiva.
• Are pursuing or have obtained ACCA or CFA certifications (a plus).
• Possess an excellent command of English and Russian for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
• Can quickly adapt to changing environments and circumstances, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.
• Have an inquisitive and creative mindset, along with strong analytical skills and excellent interpersonal abilities for client communication and teamwork.
• Exhibit a drive for creative problem-solving, contributing innovative solutions to complex challenges.
