You will execute transportation operations in term of service, cost, health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, legal requirements and policies compliance. You will work collaboratively with internal and external (third-party logistics vendors) business partners to ensure effective management, timely solutions and execution. You will be responsible for activities such as transport planning (load planning, route planning), track and trace, proof of delivery management, claims management, invoice management, compliance execution (HSE, quality, risk management), tenders support, and third-party performance management.
How you will contribute
You will:
Lead transportation related operational activities such as transport planning (load and route planning), track and trace, proof of delivery management, claims, freight billing and pay, pallet management, tender support, third-party performance management, etc.Provide leadership and direction to the Customs Clearance and Certification team, driving a culture of continuous improvement in both internal operational processes and external stakeholder interactionsMonitor, verify, update, analyze and report on our company’s transportation KPIs and introduce corrective actions to continuously improve our transportation operationsCoordinate logistics service providers (LSPs) to ensure punctual, timely and in-full deliveries, in accordance to our standard operating proceduresParticipate and provide input into regular service provider performance reviewsCommunicate with internal stakeholders on shortages, delays, quality issues, and other losses while permanently analyzing the root causes of recurring problemsParticipate in project-related and ad hoc tasks in particular in connection with (CI) projects and tenders and capacity managementCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams within the Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) organization to ensure seamless execution of end-to-end processes and maximize the Logistics Department's contribution to overall supply chain efficiencyWhat you will bring

The Logistics Supervisor will lead a team of coordinators and specialists responsible for transportation, import/export customs, and certification processes. This team manages logistical operations primarily for the following countries: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, and Belarus. Project involvement related to Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan may also be required.
Reporting to the Logistics Manager for the Eurasia region, the Logistics Supervisor will collaborate closely within the broader Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) function, encompassing Demand Planning & Fulfillment, Order to Cash, and co-packing activities. Furthermore, close cooperation with various operational and commercial departments is expected to ensure seamless supply chain execution and alignment with business objectives.

Bachelor's degree in business administration or logistics management, operations management or in a related field.
Job specific requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in managing transportation and customs operations within an international environmentIn-depth knowledge of customs regulations and import/export compliance requirements, including tariff classifications and documentationProven experience in negotiating rates and contracts with carriers and customs brokers to optimize transportation costsThorough understanding of Incoterms (International Commercial Terms) and their application in international transactionsExperience conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with transportation and customs regulationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve transportation and customs-related issues effectivelyRelocation Support Available?
