About the Project
We are delivering managed IT services for one of Kazakhstan’s largest oil and gas operators. Our scope includes consultancy, software development, and the run and maintenance of existing IT systems. As Project Manager, you will oversee service delivery, employee lifecycle management (onboarding and offboarding), and agile delivery practices, ensuring high-quality execution in a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight & Delivery
Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT service delivery projects.
Ensure project objectives are met within scope, budget, and timeline.
Act as the main point of contact between the client and internal teams.
Service Delivery Management
Manage day-to-day delivery of managed services, ensuring SLA compliance.
Monitor KPIs and prepare regular performance and progress reports for stakeholders.
Address and resolve client escalations in a timely and professional manner.
Team & Resource Management
Oversee onboarding and offboarding of project employees, ensuring smooth integration and knowledge transfer.
Coordinate allocation of resources to meet project demands.
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to drive productivity and engagement.
Agile & Scrum Leadership
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Support product owners and development teams in applying agile principles.
Drive continuous improvement in delivery practices and workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT project management, service delivery management, or related roles.
Proven experience managing IT consultancy, development, or support projects.
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience as a Scrum Master.
Experience with employee lifecycle management (onboarding/offboarding).
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
Effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Fluency in Kazakh, English and Russian.
Relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, ITIL) are an advantage.
