Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and leadership expertise in a dynamic and innovative environment. You’ll work alongside a collaborative and diverse team of professionals.
You'll play a key role in driving procurement excellence and ensuring the success of our projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Cluster/Country Procurement Directors, Global Procurement teams, engineering, supply chain, quality, and finance), develop and inspire your team, and ensure compliance with Alstom's procurement standards and processes.
You’ll specifically take care of managing and developing a high-performing procurement team, as well as ensuring supplier performance and supporting project execution and profitability, but also driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
We’ll look to you for:
Ensuring compliance with the Alstom Code of Ethics and Procurement Golden Rules
Leading and developing a multicultural team, including Procurement Managers, Project Procurement Managers, and Buyers
Collaborating closely with global procurement teams to deploy strategies and achieve synergies
Driving procurement performance by managing supplier QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) performances and supporting local buyer teams
Ensuring successful project execution and profitability through commercial and contractual negotiations
Implementing risk analysis and mitigation plans
Supporting supply chain, quality, and finance teams in achieving their objectives
Driving continuous improvement within the procurement team through APSYS Procurement initiatives

Degree from a Business School or Engineering school, with a Master’s in Purchasing
Expertise in all aspects of procurement, including previous experience in commodity management
Strong procurement professional background
Proven management experience of multicultural teams (5 to 10 years)
In-depth technical knowledge of commodities and the supplier market
Fluency in English
International mindset and cultural awareness
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to influence and collaborate in a matrix environment
Results-oriented with a strategic vision
Proven negotiation skills
