Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement leadership expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dynamic and multicultural teammates.
You'll lead and inspire a team of procurement professionals, ensuring compliance with Alstom's ethical standards and driving excellence in procurement strategies. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across the business (such as engineering, supply chain, and quality), manage supplier performance, and implement continuous improvement initiatives, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of motivating and developing your team members, ensuring project execution and profitability, but also driving operational excellence and procurement performance.
We’ll look to you for:
Securing compliance of your team with the Alstom Code of Ethics
Managing and developing procurement managers, project managers, and buyers
Collaborating with Global Procurement to deploy global strategies and achieve synergies
Driving continuous improvement within the local buyer team through APSYS Procurement
Managing supplier QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) performance and resolving major issues
Supporting commercial and contractual negotiations during project execution phases
Tracking procurement performance and implementing action plans for deviations
Supporting supply chain, quality, and accounting teams to meet objectives
Ensuring the adequate sizing of your organization based on business needs

Degree in Business or Engineering, with a Master’s in Purchasing
10 to 15 years of experience in procurement, including commodity management
Strong management experience (5 to 10 years) leading multicultural teams
Technical knowledge of commodities and supplier market expertise
Fluent in English
Leadership and communication skills
Ability to work in a matrix environment and influence internal and external stakeholders
Results-oriented with strategic vision and negotiation skills
Team spirit and the ability to challenge constructively
