Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end procurement activities for materials, equipment, and services required for a major pipeline construction project.
Manage tendering processes: prepare RFQs/RFPs, evaluate bids, conduct negotiations, and recommend awards.
Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, project requirements, and applicable regulations.
Develop and maintain the procurement plan, monitor timelines, and track contract performance.
Coordinate with engineering, contracts, construction, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Conduct supplier assessments, manage vendor relationships, and resolve performance issues.
Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and documentation for management review.
Participate in contract drafting, variation management, and commercial risk assessments.
Requirements:
Higher education in supply chain, engineering, economics, or similar fields.
5+ years of experience in procurement for large industrial, EPC, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of tendering processes, commercial terms, and contract principles.
Experience in international procurement and working with foreign suppliers is an advantage.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/1C) is a plus.
High level of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
