Construction Managers oversee all aspects of a construction project from Engineer pointing of view.
Duties and responsibilities include:

Oversee the performance of all trade contractors and ensure that work is completed on schedule Interpret and explain contracts and technical information to workers and other professionals Work closely with architects and engineers to go over plans and blueprints, making decisions on the best methods of construction Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations Support PC Contractors in Estimate project costs, negotiate contracts, and manage construction schedules (if required) Address, mitigate and resolve problems and delays in construction projects Ensure that safe work practices are followed, including compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements Organize author supervision activities, prepare rotational plan, list of activities, S& T queries Interface with PC contractor and Client in order to solve site technical issues

Qualification

Proven working experience in construction management Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards Understanding of all facets of the construction process Familiarity with construction management software packages Ability to plan and see the “big picture” Competent in conflict and crisis management Leadership and human resources management skills Excellent time and project management skills

Education: BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field

Language skills: English is mandatory. Russian and Kazakh are advantageous

Professional experience: Min 20 years technical experience in Oil & Gas. Min 10 year – Managerial experience
