Senior Manager performs the following duties and responsibilities:
1) coordinates work on academic and student issues with students, professors, and graduates of all academic programs of the School in conjunction with concerned structural divisions of the University;
2) carries out activities to implement the strategic and operational plans of the School within the framework of the supervised area;
3) develops and coordinates the methodology, rules, and procedures on academic and student affairs activity of the School in conjunction with concerned structural divisions of the University;
4) participates in the process of class scheduling for all academic programs of the School;
5) organizes and conducts the meetings of the Teaching and Learning Committee;
6) coordinates conclusion and execution of contracts and additional agreements initiated by the School in the framework of the supervised area;
7) coordinates the processes of students internships; registration, transfer, dismissal, and graduation of students, and the examination process for academic programs in conjunction with concerned structural divisions of the University;
8) participates, if necessary, in the process of students’ admission to the academic programs of the School, as well as their orientation and adaptation to the School in conjunction with concerned structural divisions of the University;
9) informs the Dean, as well as the corresponding structural divisions of the University of detected violations of the educational and examination rules for all academic programs;
10) coordinates activities for payment or reimbursement of expenses that occurred during implementation of student final projects (Capstone, Thesis, Dissertation) within the academic programs of the School, as well as the organization of the student trips;
11) coordinates student course feedback processes, analysis of the data received, as well as control of activities to improve the quality of educational services;
12) coordinates maintaining the official mail of the School, created to communicate with students on academic issues;
13) consults of faculty on the organization of the educational processes and students on academic performance, as well as the identification and support of students with low academic performance, so-called “students at risk” of academic programs;
14) conducts provision of technical and methodological assistance to staff of the School on issues within the framework of the supervised area;
15) analyses the effectiveness of the measures taken and reporting to the line manager and concerned structural divisions of the University in the framework of the supervised area;
16) participates in the process of budget development and the School’s investment plan for the corresponding financial year and the medium-term within the framework of the supervised area;
17) works with incoming correspondence, with requests for structural divisions of the University, timely submission of answers to letters, citizens' appeals, within the framework of the supervised area;
18) participates in the processes of identification, assessment, management, monitoring of risks within the framework of the supervised area;
19) temporarily performs the duties (replaces) of the other Senior manager and Manager for academic and student affairs during his/her temporary absence (up to one month);
20) timely and properly executes the tasks of the line manager and the University`s management;
21) observes the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Employer`s internal documents;
22) is responsible for exercising the labor and performance discipline;
23) is responsible for ensuring the integrity of official documents, and prevention of the disclosure or leakage of confidential and business information, as well as information of restricted access by the legislation, Charter, and internal documents of the Employer;
24) in case of dismissal, is responsible for the timely transfer of all paper documentation, digital information, inventory to another employee as instructed by the line manager (to be certified by the act of acceptance-transfer).
Education
Higher-professional, preferable from the higher education institutions with the English language of instruction. A master’s degree is preferred

Work experience
Five years minimum. Minimum three years with a master`s degree in the relevant area
Knowledge
- Knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of education and science;
- knowledge in the field of organization and maintenance of the educational process;
- knowledge of the basics of risk management;
- knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Google products (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, Drive);
- fluency in Kazakh, Russian, and English
