Job description
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with the corporate HSE management system and Integrated Management System (IMS) and RoK requirements.
Develop, implement, and maintain procedures in line with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
Prepare HSE sections of project documentation (occupational safety plans, environmental impact assessments, emergency response plans).
Maintain and update HSE documentation: policies, procedures, reports, training records.
Monitor compliance with Kazakhstan’s occupational health, industrial safety, and environmental legislation.
Prepare and submit required reports to government authorities.
Support project managers with HSE documentation and regulatory approvals.
Review contractors’ HSE plans and ensure alignment with corporate and legal requirements.
Organize and document safety inductions and training sessions for project teams.
Assist in internal and external audits, prepare corrective action plans.
Facilitate communication with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
Qualification
Requirements:
University degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Safety, or related fields.
Experience in HSE within engineering or oil & gas projects is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of Kazakhstan’s occupational health and environmental legislation.
Proficiency in documentation management and reporting.
Ability to work in a project-driven environment and collaborate with engineers and project managers.
Education: Bachelor degree in engineering is minimum requirement. Master degree preferred
Language skills: Russian and English are mandatory – Kazakh is advantageous
