Job Description
- The Senior Manager performs the following work duties:
- preparation and execution of documents on issues within the competence of the CPS;
- interaction and correspondence with academic and administrative staff on issues within the competence of the CPS;
- participation in the recruitment campaign to attract potential attendants in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad (presentations in the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan, international educational exhibitions);
- participation in the organization of the Nazarbayev University entrance test of in the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad;
- planning and development of medium-term and operational budgets of the CPS, including the investment budget;
- coordinating the formation of reports on the development of the CPS budget (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual);
- coordination of financial work related to the organization of commercial projects: calculation of the cost, analysis and monitoring of profitability and effectiveness of the commercial projects (if any);
- coordination and control over the development and execution of the annual budget for the commercial activities of the CPS;
- registration of materials for the conclusion of contracts on the purchase of equipment, materials and office goods, monitoring of deadlines for the fulfillment of contractual obligations concluded with external contractors of the CPS;
- providing consulting and information support to academic and administrative staff within their competence, including on procurement issues;
- preparation of financial analysis on the activities of the CPS, including commercial activities;
- preparation of financial reports for internal and external audit (if necessary);
- preparation of analytical materials, presentations, information on individual tasks, instructions of the Direct Supervisor within the competence of the CPS;
- participation in the processes of identification, assessment, management, monitoring of risks within the supervised direction;
- performs duties (replaces) Manager of the CPS (finance) during his temporary absence (for up to one month).
- timely and properly executes the tasks of the Direct Supervisor and the University`s management;
- complies with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and internal documents of the University;
- responsible for compliance with labor and service discipline;
- is responsible for ensuring the integrity of official documents, and prevention of the disclosure or leakage of confidential and business information, as well as information of restricted access in accordance with the legislation, Charter and internal documents of the Employer;
- in case of dismissal, I am responsible for the timely transfer of all paper documentation, digital information, inventory to another employee at the direction of the Direct Supervisor (according to the act of acceptance and transfer).
Qualifications
Education:
Higher-professional, preferable from the higher education institutions with English language of instruction;
Priority specializations:
- finance;
- accounting;
- economy;
- business administration; or
- related specialties in the field of humanities
Work experience:
With a Bachelor's degree / Specialist - at least five years;
At least three years with a Master's degree in the relevant field.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of budgeting;
- knowledge of MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint programs
