The Client Servicing Executive will be responsible for managing their own portfolio of clients in the area of employee health and benefits. Their duties include managing renewals, invoicing and monitoring client payments, preparing new quotes, cross-selling and upselling additional products, making mid-term adjustments, and quickly and professionally resolving any client inquiries to ensure high client satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Key Tasks
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers within client organisations and stay informed about important changes within the client’s company and the insurance market.
- Manage all aspects of account servicing and delivery of health and benefits solutions, ensuring client needs are met in accordance with agreed service standards.
- Identify and document opportunities for revenue growth, business expansion, and development by actively exploring additional opportunities within the existing portfolio and from other sources.
- Ensure timely renewal of policies and mid-term adjustments.
- Develop strategies for client retention and account protection to secure ongoing business.
- Provide support to clients and/or claims teams when necessary in handling claims.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with insurers through regular contact and liaison to better serve clients.
- Possess a thorough understanding of life, medical, and personal accident insurance offered by Marsh, and stay updated on new technical and product developments to advise colleagues and clients more effectively.
Education and Experience
- Over 5 years of experience in the insurance industry with increasing responsibility directly related to the duties outlined above.
- Higher education is required.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Good understanding of personal insurance terminology, the core functions of an insurance broker, and various lines of business insurance.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Currently hold or be in the process of obtaining an insurance certification, with a willingness to pursue further qualifications and continuing education.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
