Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your quality expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll support Kazakhstan project teams to reach quality level with our suppliers for all product lines. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering etc.), contribute to supplier development and much more.
You'll specifically ensure the delivery of on-cycle Supplier quality activities (from selection of suppliers till end of the contract) for the projects delivered by the Country, but also support colleagues with any issues around incoming quality issues.
We'll look to you for:
Deliver / organize the delivery of the Supplier Quality activities during the development phases of the projects:
- Build SPQD (Supplier Quality Development Activities) organization and manage associated teams
- Interact with Sites & Projects to anticipate and deliver the Supplier Product Development activities
- Conduct the necessary activities with suppliers and internal stake holders to ensure First Article Inspection Go on time
- Organize the REX by commodities
Develop teams and improve efficiency of the organization
- Animate the Supplier Quality network (Country and/or Site Supplier Quality Organization)
- Contribute to the assessment of the Supplier Quality competences
- Support, develop and deploy programs with the Quality School as appropriate - Ensure that the process of qualification for this community is under control and meets expectations
- Propose and lead synergies/improvement actions within the Supplier Quality organization
- Consolidate and analyse Supplier Quality workload, give orientations in term of budget and strategy for the Supplier Quality organization to Quality Director.
- Analyse the improvement needs in Supplier Quality local organizations and support associated action plans. Ensure autonomy of the region in the delivery of SQ activities and trainings
Develop and deploy Supplier Quality Processes and Sharing of good practices
- Contribute to the definition and the continuous improvement of Alstom standard processes for Supplier Quality (function standards, processes, tools, methods) and ensure they are appropriate, lean and efficient.
- Ensure their smooth and efficient deployment in all product lines, relying on global Supplier Quality expertise when needed.
- Align Supplier Quality on Alstom Supplier Quality ways of working.

- Quality Engineering degree
- More than 5 years of experience in Quality, Supplier Quality
- Quality tools experienced (eg problem solving/Risk management tools)
- Manufacturing Processes knowledge
- Experience in managing suppliers
- Knowledge of railway industry (norms, certifications…)
- Strong leadership with communication and influencing skills
- International and multi-cultural mindset
- Continuous improvement mindset and customer oriented
- Structured, rigorous and logical thinking
