A fast-growing international company is looking for an experienced product management professional to join our team as a Water, Plumbing and Heating Product Manager in Kazakhstan (Central Asia). This position will be based in Astana/Almaty (Astana is preferred), to assist the company in business development and financial management in the Central Asia market.

Job Summary:

The Water, Plumbing and Heating Product Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning, development, and management of heating and plumbing product lines in Kazakhstan. This includes market analysis, product development, pricing strategies, and working closely with sales and marketing teams to drive product success. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the heating and plumbing industry in Kazakhstan, strong analytical skills, and experience in product management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps for heating and plumbing product lines.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive analysis.
  • Define product requirements and specifications based on market analysis and customer feedback.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept through launch to end-of-life.
• Product Development:
  • Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to develop new products and improve existing ones.
  • Ensure products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards specific to Kazakhstan.
  • Oversee product testing, validation and certification processes.
• Marketing and Sales Support:
  • Develop pricing strategies to maximize profitability while ensuring market competitiveness.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop product positioning, messaging, and promotional materials.
  • Provide training and support to the sales team on product features, benefits, and applications.
  • Monitor product performance and market acceptance, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Monitor product line profitability, including cost management and pricing strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports on product performance, including sales data, market share, and profitability.
• Supplier and Vendor Management:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Power Engineering or Science
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in product management, preferably in the heating, plumbing, or related industries.
  • Experience in the Kazakhstani market is highly desirable.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Water, Plumbing and Heating products and industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using product management software and tools.
• Language Requirements:
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Fluency in Russian and/or Kazakh is required.
