Job purpose
The QA/QC Manager ensures that all project phases adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and scheduling goals. This role is responsible for establishing and maintaining Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures, ensuring that fit-out projects meet design specifications and contractual obligations. Additionally, the Planning function ensures that project timelines are well-structured, monitored, and optimized to achieve on-time delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Roles and responsibilities
Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001, project-specific quality plans, and industry best practices.
- Establish and enforce quality control procedures, including material inspections, workmanship assessments, and on-site quality audits.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality assessments, ensuring compliance with approved design specifications, building codes, and contract requirements.
- Identify non-conformities (NCRs), issue corrective action reports (CARs), and ensure timely rectification of all quality-related issues.
- Ensure proper documentation of all quality-related processes, test reports, inspection records, and certifications.
- Oversee material testing, sample approvals, and commissioning processes to verify compliance with specifications.
- Monitor workmanship standards, finishing details, and final acceptance criteria for handover.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, including client and regulatory inspections, and ensure compliance with findings.
- Lead and manage root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project quality.

Related years of experience
Min: 6+ years of experience in related QA-QC Works
Field of experience
Experience in complex Civil/Technical scope management in a large public facility (event, shopping, hotels), preferably within Kazakhstan.
Technical and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record in quality management, inspection procedures, and scheduling for commercial, office, or residential fit-out projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high standards of quality and timely completion
- In-depth knowledge of QA/QC standards, construction codes, and fit-out industry regulations.
- Expertise in non-conformance tracking, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle quality-related issues effectively.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to coordinate between QA/QC, planning, and project execution teams.
- Effective communication and reporting skills for stakeholder engagement, documentation, and compliance reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Qualification
Masters in technical/civil or equivalent
