Execution of a project for the fabrication and erection of steel storage tanks for the oil and gas industry in full compliance with international quality standards and Client requirements.
Establishing and managing the Project Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) system
Ensuring compliance with ISO, API, ASME standards and contractual requirements
Supervision and control of welding activities (WPS, PQR, WPQ)
Incoming inspection of materials and equipment
Coordination and control of NDT activities (VT, UT, RT, MT, PT)
Inspection of steel structure erection and tank geometry control
Supervision of corrosion protection and coating works
Preparation and review of ITPs, QCPs, and testing procedures
Compilation and maintenance of as-built documentation and final QA/QC dossier
Liaising with Client representatives and third-party inspectors
Conducting internal quality audits
Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Proven experience with welding and mechanical construction documentation
Experience in electrical and civil works quality control is an advantage
Minimum 5 years of QA/QC Manager experience, including at least 3 years in the oil & gas sector
Strong technical knowledge in welding, steel structures, materials, NDT, and coatings
Practical knowledge of oil & gas industry codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO, etc.)
Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Experience working with international Clients
