Technical Associate to CTO Entrepreneur | AI, Web & Mobile Projects

The Role in Brief

You will work directly with an IT entrepreneur and CTO who has built, launched, and scaled digital products and technology businesses. Your role is to be a capable, reliable, and technically sharp close collaborator. You will be in the room, working on real projects, solving real problems, and learning in real time from someone who has already navigated the path you are on.

This is a rare opportunity to learn by doing, working directly with someone who has already built what you’re working toward.

What You’ll Be Building

You’ll help build a variety of small-to-medium digital projects, some launched publicly, some internal. Many of these are technical automations and custom tools that solve specific business problems and need someone smart enough to figure out the right approach. Think: scoping a project, building it, shipping it, and moving on to the next one.

Your Day-to-Day

Assist & contribute in the hands-on development of web and mobile applications, from planning through to deployment

Use AI development tools (Claude, Gemini, etc.) to contribute efficiently and intelligently to ongoing projects

Research technologies, tools, and market solutions, and translate findings into clear, professional recommendations

Help manage and integrate APIs, third-party services, and automation workflows

Keep technical documentation structured, current, and professionally maintained

Communicate consistently and clearly, written and verbal, across all project and business interactions

Your First Months

You’ll be assigned a real project from day one. Within your first months, you’ll scope it, build it, and launch it, with direct guidance and feedback throughout. You’ll also start building smaller internal tools and automations that solve immediate business needs. The learning curve is steep, the scope is broad, and the feedback loop is fast.

Requirements

1–3 years of background in software development, IT, or an engineering-adjacent discipline

Working proficiency in web technologies

Hands-on experience with AI tools applied to real development work

Basic understanding of mobile application development principles

Foundational engineering literacy: you understand how systems are built and how products are shipped

Git or version control experience

Evidence of shipped work: personal projects, freelance, or otherwise

B2+ English proficiency, written and spoken

Highly organised, self-directed, and comfortable following lead

Genuinely passionate about technology and, importantly, about building a career within it

Any scripting or back-end exposure (Python, Node.js)

REST API or cloud services familiarity

The Setup

This is a fully remote, full-time position with overlap expected during UAE business hours (GST/UTC+4). You will be the first dedicated hire, working directly with the founder and interacting with other teams as needed.
