Responsibilities:
Preparation and timely submission of statutory reports to government authorities, including the Statistics Agency, National Bank, Akimat, and other regulatory bodies.
Ensuring compliance with applicable legislation when preparing tax reports (Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Personal Income Tax, social contributions, etc.).
Performing monthly reconciliations of tax and statutory accounts in 1C or other ERP systems and ensuring consistency with the General Ledger.
Participation in audits, tax inspections, and reviews by regulatory authorities, including preparation and provision of supporting data, explanations, and reconciliations.
Maintaining a reporting calendar and monitoring compliance with reporting deadlines.
Supporting the Chief Accountant in preparing documentation accompanying financial statements.
Cooperating with the Financial Controller during monthly and quarterly closing processes on tax reporting matters.
Participating in the improvement of tax and statutory reporting processes and internal control systems.
Requirements:
Higher education in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience working with statutory reporting.
Knowledge of procedures for preparing and submitting reports to government authorities (tax authorities, statistics, etc.).
Strong understanding of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of accounting and reporting.
Knowledge of statutory reporting forms and submission deadlines.
Ability to maintain accounting records in accordance with established standards and ensure accuracy of reporting data.
Experience working with primary documentation and verifying compliance with legislative requirements.
Skills in analyzing reporting data and identifying errors or inconsistencies.
Proficiency in accounting software (1C Accounting, ERP systems).
Experience in the oil & gas (upstream) or mining industry is an advantage.
Proficiency in English and Russian; knowledge of Kazakh is an advantage.
Additional skills (preferred):
Configuration of data exchanges, processing, documents, and regulated operations in 1C.
Optimization of accounting processes through scripts, reports, and processing tools in 1C.
Experience with programming in the 1C:Enterprise built-in language.
