Chinese Interpreter / Medical Escort Assistant

Responsibilities:

1. Accompany patients to hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and other medical appointment locations.

2. Assist with registration, examination arrangements, queuing, payment, and basic on-site communication.

3. Assist patients with passport applications, government procedures, and coordination of related documents.

4. Accurately translate communication between local doctors, nurses, patients, local staff, and the Chinese team.

5. Report on-site situations to the Chinese team in a timely and accurate manner.

6. Help confirm medical appointment times, examination items, follow-up schedules, and doctors’ instructions.

7. Collect, photograph, organize, and send medical reports, examination forms, payment receipts, and related documents.

8. Accurately communicate the Chinese team’s instructions to local staff or patients.

9. Follow up on whether patients arrive on time, complete examinations, and cooperate with the required arrangements.

10. Assist in handling on-site issues, such as long waiting times, additional examinations, unclear communication, physical discomfort, or difficulties with document procedures.

11. Cooperate with the Chinese team to complete on-site coordination at hospitals, clinics, government offices, and other assigned locations.

12. Strictly protect all personal information, medical information, document information, and project-related information. Confidentiality must be maintained at all times.

Requirements:

1. Fluent in Chinese and English.

2. Good communication and on-site coordination skills.

3. Responsible, punctual, patient, and detail-oriented.

4. Able to accompany people to hospitals, government offices, and other assigned locations, and handle on-site communication.

5. Experience in basic medical services, hospital escort services, healthcare services, or document processing is preferred.

6. Experience in translation, medical escort, customer service, or administrative assistance is preferred.

7. Able to report work progress clearly and promptly to the Chinese team.

8. Strong sense of confidentiality; must not disclose any client, patient, company, or project-related information.

9. Flexible schedule and willingness to travel within the city according to project needs.

10. Able to accept temporary work arrangements and complete assigned tasks on time.

Terms:

1. Position: Chinese Interpreter / Medical Escort Assistant.

2. Work type: Flexible working arrangement, with on-site accompaniment and communication tasks based on project needs.

3. Once a work schedule is confirmed, the employee must attend on time. Unexcused absence or last-minute absence may affect salary or allowances according to company policy.

4. Workplace: Hospitals, clinics, government offices, and other locations assigned by the company.

5. Salary: Negotiable based on experience, Chinese level, English level, and actual work ability.

6. Reasonable transportation expenses incurred for work-related trips can be reimbursed.

7. Probation period can be discussed.

8. Long-term and stable cooperation is preferred.
