Responsibilities:
Organizing and overseeing accounting and tax records in accordance with IFRS and the Company's Accounting Policy
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under IFRS and forms required by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan / Samruk-Kazyna JSC
Calculating and monitoring payment of all taxes (CIT, VAT, PIT, etc.); timely submission of tax and statistical reports
Reviewing contracts and transactions for compliance with RK legislation and adopted accounting methodology
Treasury management: payment calendar control, FX operations oversight, free cash management
Liaising with external auditors, tax and government authorities, and Samruk-Kazyna JSC
Developing and updating accounting and tax policies and methodology
Managing the Accounting Department: task allocation, KPIs, departmental budgeting, team development (3 direct reports)
Organizing inventory of fixed assets, inventories, and intangible assets; component accounting for aircraft
Managing tax, currency, and credit risks; anti-corruption compliance
Requirements:
Higher education in Finance, Accounting & Audit, or Economics
Professional Accountant certificate of the Republic of Kazakhstan and DipIFR diploma (mandatory)
Total work experience — 12+ years; in accounting and tax — 8+ years
Management experience in accounting — 5+ years
Strong knowledge and hands-on application of IFRS (IAS/IFRS) and the Tax Code of the RK
Proficiency in 1C: Accounting 8.x, SAP BPS; working knowledge of e-invoicing systems and taxpayer cabinet tools
English at advanced level
Experience handling tax audits and working with external auditors
