Novakid is an English language school for children 4-12 years old, which allows children to remotely learn a foreign language according to a teaching program that meets European CEFR standards on an equal footing with their English-speaking peers (Novakid teachers are native speakers from the US, UK and other countries). We are an advanced IT company of 400+ professionals.
We are looking for Teacher Development Manager with knowledge of English at the advanced level.
We design and run everything that helps our online teachers grow - from training programmes and self-paced courses to peer learning, community events, and a teacher-facing knowledge base. If you have a background in English language teaching and ESL teacher training and are genuinely curious about teachers’ professional development in a fast-paced EdTech environment - we would like to hear from you.
What you will do
Design and facilitate CPD sessions and training programmes for online English teachers
Build and update e-learning content and self-paced courses on an LMS platform
Support peer learning and community programmes: coordinating formats, preparing materials, tracking outcomes
Create and maintain content for a teacher-facing knowledge base
Write scripts, session guides, and development materials to a high standard
Track programme metrics and use data to identify what is working and what needs improving
What we are looking for:
This role is not only about delivering trainings or following existing processes.
We’re looking for someone who can think proactively, notice problems, and come up with practical solutions that can improve teacher performance and student experience at scale.
A successful candidate should be comfortable:
taking initiative instead of waiting for detailed instructions;
identifying gaps or recurring teacher challenges;
proposing creative ideas, campaigns, or improvement activities;
adapting quickly when something is not working;
balancing structure with creativity;
and thinking about the real impact of development initiatives
In this role, you may sometimes need to:
improve processes that are not fully built yet;
support teachers through change;
and turn broad goals into actionable activities.
Essential:
Qualified ESL teacher trainer with at least 3 years of relevant experience
Background in CPD, teacher training, or instructional design - online or blended context preferred
Excellent written English - clear, concise, and professional across all formats
Comfortable with data: reading reports, spotting patterns, drawing practical conclusions
You do not need to have done everything below - but you need to be ready to learn it fast:
Working with an LMS or online learning platform
Using AI tools at work - curious and willing to experiment
L&D data tracking and reporting
EdTech workflows and tools - you ask questions, figure things out, and act on feedback
Nice to have:
Background in instructional design or learning experience design
Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira
Experience producing webinar, video, or podcast content
