Position: Customs Clerk

Employment Type: Full-time

Schedule: 5/2, full working day (8 hours)

Location: Astana

1. Key Responsibilities

* Provide consultations to clients regarding customs legislation.

* Collect a complete set of documents required for customs declaration from clients.

* Ensure confidentiality of personal data.

* Take necessary actions to ensure timely customs clearance of incoming shipments, prevent violations related to exceeding personal import limits, and eliminate risks of customs duty evasion.

* Make decisions regarding the provision of shipping documentation to clients.

* Plan working time according to tasks and deadlines.

* Attend all DHL-organized trainings related to job responsibilities.

* Comply with company procedures and policies.

* Do not transfer or receive any documents unrelated to official duties during working hours or on company premises.

* Ensure timely archiving of customs department documents, maintain records of archived documents, and request necessary documents from the archive.

* Maintain records of customs broker agreements, store paper and scanned copies, and provide originals to clients and regional representatives.

2. Qualifications and Experience

Required:

* Work experience: 1-3 years

* Document handling skills

* Knowledge of 1C software and cash register operations

* Attention to detail and high responsibility

* Teamwork and communication skills

* Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new conditions
