Could you be the full-time Certification Engineer in Astana we’re looking for?
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new, cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative and innovative team of professionals.
You'll play a vital role in designing, researching, and prototyping solutions to meet customer needs, ultimately contributing to the efficiency and sustainability of our products. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams such as production and suppliers, validate specifications with design authorities, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of developing and testing prototypes, as well as maintaining engineering records and designs, but also identifying solutions to improve product and production efficiency.
We’ll look to you for:
• Ensuring timely conformity verification with safety requirements for electric locomotives and their components.
• Managing certification/declaration applications for products — from the application preparation stage to obtaining the certificate/registration of the declaration. This includes organizing testing (and attending tests as an observer when required), as well as participating as the Company’s representative during certification audits and periodic production assessments.
• Interaction with Certification Bodies and Government authorities within the scope of assigned responsibilities.
• Providing methodological and advisory support to Company employees on matters related to conformity assessment.

• Higher technical education, specialization in Mechanical Engineering/Railway Transport/Certification.
• Knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of technical regulation.
• Knowledge of the requirements of TR CU 001/2011.
• Experience in the field of conformity assessment is desirable.
• English language proficiency is an advantage.
