International Community Schools (ICS) is a well-established education group based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, operating 6 successful school branches. As part of our international expansion, ICS is opening a new branch in Astana, Kazakhstan, delivering high-quality international education aligned with global standards.
The Admission / Registration Officer will manage the complete student admissions and registration process for the Astana branch. The role requires strong knowledge of the Kazakhstan education system, local regulations, and fluency in local languages, ensuring smooth communication with parents, students, and government authorities.
Manage the full admissions cycle: inquiries, applications, assessments, offers, and student enrollment
Guide parents on admission requirements, documentation, and school policies
Maintain accurate student records in the school management system
Coordinate student transfers, withdrawals, and re-registrations
Ensure compliance with Kazakhstan Ministry of Education regulations
Verify equivalency, transfer certificates, and academic records from local and international schools
Support school licensing and inspection requirements related to admissions
Act as the first point of contact for prospective parents and students
Communicate clearly in Kazakh and/or Russian, and preferably English
Support school open days, marketing events, and school tours
Work closely with School Leadership, Finance, and Academic teams
Prepare regular admissions reports (enrollment numbers, forecasts, statistics)
Support management with admissions planning and capacity analysis
Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality of student and parent information
Follow school policies, safeguarding guidelines, and local data protection laws
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Administration, Business, or a related field
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in school admissions or registration in Kazakhstan
Strong understanding of local education laws, documentation, and procedures
Fluent in Kazakh and/or Russian (mandatory)
Good command of English (spoken and written)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Proficient in MS Office and school management systems
Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information professionally
Customer-focused mindset with a professional and friendly approach
Experience working in an international or private school
Familiarity with British, American, or IB curriculum admissions
Experience coordinating with government education authorities
