Job Purpose:

We are looking for a specialist responsible for business planning, cost analysis, and purchase price management within the Forwarding Logistics Department. The role focuses on financial efficiency, cost control, and supporting data-driven decision-making for logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage business plans, budgets, and financial forecasts for the Forwarding Logistics Department.
• Analyze logistics costs, margins, and profitability by routes, customers, and services.
• Monitor and control purchase prices for forwarding services (freight, handling, customs, and related logistics costs).
• Conduct variance analysis between planned and actual costs, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions.
• Support pricing decisions by providing cost calculations and profitability assessments.
• Develop and maintain cost models for different logistics scenarios and business cases.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Sales teams to ensure cost transparency and alignment.
• Prepare regular management reports and ad-hoc analytical reports for senior management.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement within logistics operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business planning, cost analysis, controlling, or financial analysis, preferably in logistics or forwarding.
• Strong understanding of logistics cost structures and pricing principles.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work with large data sets and meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• English proficiency at an intermediate to advanced level.
