POSITION DESCRIPTION
Staff Position to provide replacement for Maternity Leave.
Position Summary:
We seek a talented and enthusiastic legal professional to manage the School of Law’s portfolio of experiential education opportunities for students, and to assist the Dean and Associate Dean with outreach to various constituencies. The Director will have primary responsibility for administration of legal clinics, Ask-A-Lawyer, internships, externships, Mentorship, and moot competitions, guest speakers, an annual High School debate tournament and job fairs. An interest in clinical legal education and the ability to exercise sound judgment while working creatively is required.
Minimum Qualifications:
An earned LL.B. is the minimum academic qualification required for the directorship, but an LL.M. is preferred. Two years of teaching and two years of licensed Kazakhstan practice are preferred, but some other combination of the two may be considered. Professional fluency in English and Russian is required, with additional fluency in Kazakh preferred.

Compensation
Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. Compensation after-tax compares favorably with net salaries in other countries. Limited on-campus housing is available to rent.
