Getting the classroom ready for lessons
Listening to children read, reading to them, or telling them stories.
Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks.
Assisting teachers with carrying out lesson plans.
Helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records.
Supporting teachers in managing class behavior.
Observing and monitoring the children's behavior, and providing feedback to the lead teacher as necessary.
Supervising group activities.
Assisting with classroom management, ensuring the children are safe and engaged in their learning.
Helping children use the bathroom or, when necessary, changing diapers.
I am handling basic hygiene needs such as handwashing.
Preparing children for and supervising them during naptime.
Looking after children who are upset or have had accidents.
Clearing away materials and equipment after lessons.
Helping with outings and sports events.
Taking part in trainings.
Carrying out administrative tasks.
Maintaining a safe and supportive environment for young children.
Providing individual attention to the children who may need extra help or support.
