Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a solid understanding of basic tax concepts and actively seek to increase tax knowledge through client assignments and staying updated on current tax developments.
• Prepare, research, and identify tax issues using appropriate resources, and clearly and logically document all tax work for review by others.
• Thoroughly and accurately analyze information, arriving at appropriate engagement conclusions and recommendations.
• Document work papers and advice, draft client correspondence, and effectively communicate with clients and EY personnel.
• Be a proactive team player, ready to take responsibility and show initiative.

Requirements:

• The final year of a bachelor's degree program in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Tax, or Law.
• Advanced level of English.
• Strong writing, research, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Basic knowledge of Kazakhstan taxation.
• Knowledge of accounting and familiarity with 1C and/or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced professional services environment.
• Hardworking and eager to work.
• Positive attitude.
• Team player.
• Work experience in accounting, tax, finance, or law is preferable but not mandatory.
