FLS seeks a passionate, talented Training and Curriculum Specialist for its Global Training team. You will have the opportunity to help plan, develop, author and execute technical training curriculum for internal sales teams , and will be an important contributor to a team of dedicated and talented training professionals.
Your responsibilities
Creates technical equipment and training curriculum for customer and field service engineer teams. Curriculum includes presentation material, facilitator guides, assessments and participant reference handbooks, and supporting e-learning modules.
Displays deep understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory in creation of training materials and assessments.
Presents training to internal employees.
Demonstrates experience in working with and understanding mining equipment.
Ability to work powerfully and effectively with global subject matter experts.
Ability to adapt curriculum to customers and internal learners.
Creates competency assessments that are valid and reliable for external and internal technicians.
Trains and tracks effectiveness of trainers worldwide in the use of standardized curriculum.
Develop training material and support documentation to meet the learning requirements of training participants using a range of blended learning techniques.
Ability to create learning materials to meet rigorous, reliable, and valid equipment and safety certification standards.
What you bring
3-5 years of administering technical training programs and curriculum.
Deep understanding and practice of instructional design and adult learning theory principles.
Experience in creating and developing sales training.
Proficiency in content creation platforms including Microsoft Suite (Powerpoint, Word, Excel), Articulate Storyline and/or Adobe Captivate, and Camtasia.
Technical experience and aptitude in mechanical technology and mining process and equipment.
Strong technical writing background with mechanical aptitude.
Ability to plan and develop world class material working with a team of technical and educational experts.
Deep passion for excellence in all phases of the training process, from needs analysis to follow-up…your passion for training done right should be easy to detect and contagious.
Ability to engage learners in in-person presentation, curriculum and resource development, and online learning scenarios.
Creativity; bring new training ideas to the table that no one has thought of yet to better engage, support, and develop skill sets of learners.
