ABOUT MULBERRY ACADEMY
Mulberry Academy is a pioneering early childhood and elementary school serving children ages 1–12. Our innovative model synthesizes Waldorf arts-based curriculum, project-based learning, social-emotional development, movement-based pedagogy, multi-sensory academics, and neuroscience-informed practices. We are committed to creating a truly inclusive, neurodivergent-affirming environment where every child thrives.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a warm, creative, and experienced Lead Teacher for our Saplings classroom, working with children ages 4–5. The Saplings level is a vital bridge year where children build school readiness through purposeful play, Waldorf-inspired rhythms, and early exposure to structured learning in a low-demand, high-support environment.
As Lead Teacher, you will guide morning circle routines, nature walks, storytelling, and early academic exploration through hands-on, multi-sensory methods. You will also facilitate Early Childhood Project-Based Learning in the afternoons, supporting children’s natural curiosity through collaborative investigation and creative expression. This role requires deep understanding of early childhood development and the ability to co-regulate with young learners.
