How You’ll Make an Impact
Serve as a pivotal legal advisor and compliance expert, supporting Siemens Energy’s operations in Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries. Advise on regulatory topics, corporate and commercial law, intellectual property, product liability and procurement. Manage legal risks and opportunities, act as a partner to business management. Support international legal projects across multiple jurisdictions in Central Asia. Manage a wide range of compliance requests and issues as well as proactively anticipate and control compliance risks, implementing effective measures to prevent and respond to violations. Provide advice on effective business conduct to raise compliance awareness across the Siemens Energy organization in Central Asia. Drive business success with your ambitious approach, expertly balancing governance with business agility. Elevate our Legal & Compliance department's standards, strategically managing costs and external counsel when vital. Implement process improvements and lean methodologies to streamline efficiency. Cultivate a culture of ownership, empowerment, transparency, and inclusivity, while promoting a speak-up environment. Collaborate with the global Legal and Compliance community to share knowledge and standard methodologies. Craft and deliver training to empower stakeholders with legal insights.What You bring
A proven legal background with several years of experience in an international company or law firm, particularly with international infrastructure/energy projects. A comprehensive understanding of Central Asian legal frameworks. A track record of leading legal risks in complex transactions with expertise in regulatory compliance, contract law and international practices. Professional experience in the area of compliance including Data Privacy, AML or Export Control/Trade Compliance as well as in performing compliance risk analysis and implementing adequate mitigation measures. Strategic negotiation skills and a customer-focused approach to facilitate business transactions and drive change. The ability to balance multiple tasks while maintaining a sharp eye for detail. A collaborative spirit, growing in a team and international settings. Strong communication skills, intercultural awareness, and sensitivity. Proficiency in Kazakh, English and Russian.Who is Siemens Energy?
