Lawyer / Legal Counsel (BPO)

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and proactive Lawyer to join our BPO team. In this role, you will provide legal support to multiple clients, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will be responsible for managing legal documentation, advising on corporate and commercial matters, and minimizing legal risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal support to BPO clients across various industries
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations
• Advise clients on corporate, commercial, and labor law matters
• Manage legal risks and support dispute resolution processes
• Liaise with external counsel, regulators, and government authorities
• Maintain and update legal documentation and records
• Monitor changes in legislation and assess their impact on clients

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent)
• 3+ years of relevant legal experience (in-house or law firm)
• Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial law
• Experience in contract drafting and legal analysis
• Fluent English (B2+ or higher)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and clients simultaneously
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Experience both on US and Kazakhstan law systems

Nice to Have

• Experience in BPO or consulting environment
• Knowledge of international law or cross-border transactions
• Professional certifications or LLM degree
