We are expanding our crypto trading operations and are looking for an experienced Market Making Team Lead to manage and develop our day and night trading teams.

We are building a low-latency market-making system for spot and futures trading across major exchanges (Binance, Bybit, OKX, KuCoin), supported by our internal OMS, Matching Engine, Risk Engine, and Hedging Engine. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep market-making expertise with team oversight and operational discipline.

What You’ll Do

1. Team Management

• Lead and mentor a team of day/night traders.
• Set clear goals, manage schedules, and monitor team KPIs.
• Provide structured feedback, ensure discipline in execution, and review daily trades.
• Build a high-performance culture based on ownership, speed, and continuous improvement.

2. Market Making Strategy & Execution

• Develop, optimise, and maintain market-making strategies across spot and futures.
• Manage hedging models on multiple exchanges and instruments.
• Partner with quants and developers to enhance algorithms (latency, order placement logic, inventory management).
• Analyse liquidity patterns, spreads, volatility, and order book dynamics to identify opportunities.

3. Risk Management

• Monitor exposure, MMR, risk ratios, margin, funding, leverage, and account health.
• React quickly to market anomalies, disbalances, and high-volatility events.
• Set and enforce risk limits for both manual traders and automated systems.
• Run structured post-event reviews and root-cause analyses after critical incidents.

4. Operational Control

• Oversee live trading systems, including API stability and order-routing performance.
• Manage multiple wallets and accounts (spot, futures, cross/isolated).
• Coordinate with exchanges on technical and trading matters.
• Ensure uninterrupted monitoring and execution during volatile market conditions.

Requirements

Technical & Trading Experience

• Proven experience in crypto market making (mandatory).
• Deep understanding of order book microstructure: depth, liquidity, slippage, spreads.
• Hands-on experience managing PnL and exposure across several exchanges.
• Familiarity with execution, hedging, and market-making best practices.
• Russian speaker

Nice to Have

• Strong knowledge of futures: funding, basis, margin models, premiums, hedging.
• Understanding of market-data pipelines, API behavior, and latency optimisation.
• Python skills for research, validation, or strategy fine-tuning.
