Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate technical documentation related to LV, MV, and HV cables (design, specifications, test reports, drawings).
- Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, IEEE, BS, etc.) and project-specific requirements.
- Coordinate technical interfaces with cable manufacturers, EPC contractors, and client representatives.
- Monitor type tests, routine tests, and factory acceptance tests (FAT) at manufacturing sites.
- Provide engineering support during procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Participate in technical audits, inspections, and quality evaluations.
- Prepare technical reports and contribute to resolving non-conformities and technical deviations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the engineering or inspection of power cables.
- Strong knowledge of cable design, manufacturing processes, and international standards (IEC 60228, IEC 60502, etc.).
- Experience with cable laying, jointing, and termination practices is a plus.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering documentation and test procedures.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
