These individuals handle financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.Key responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the company’s tax function, ensuring compliance with Kazakhstan tax regulation;
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address tax implications related to business transactions, investments and new projects;
· Prepare and review tax filings, reports and supporting documentation for timely and accurate submission to local tax authorities;
· Identify tax planning opportunities and strategies to optimize the company's overall tax position, ensuring compliance while minimizing risks;
· Stay current with changes in local tax laws, international tax developments and industry best practices;
· Conduct internal reviews and audits of tax-related processes, identifying areas for improvement or risk mitigation;
· Conduct calculation of Deferred taxes for financial reporting purposes on monthly basis;
· Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and long-term tax planning.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or related field;
· Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA or equivalent) is a plus;
· Minimum of 10 years of tax experience;
· Strong knowledge of Kazakhstan tax laws and regulations, including VAT, corporate income tax and other taxes;
· Fluency in both written and spoken English and Russian is required;
· Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills;
· Strong attention to details and ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
