We are looking for an experienced and proactive Collection Team Leader to join our global Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Accounts Receivable specialists, with a strong focus on improving cash flow, reducing DSO, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding receivables.
You will oversee day-to-day collections operations, coach and support your team, manage escalated cases, and drive continuous process improvements in collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Order-to-Cash, Credit Management, Legal.

Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of collections professionals to achieve performance targets and service standards.
Monitor collection metrics (e.g., aging reports, DSO, collection rate) and take corrective actions when necessary.
Manage complex or escalated collection cases, including direct communication with customers to resolve issues.
Collaborate with internal teams (Order-to-Cash, Credit Management, Legal, Business representatives) to resolve disputes and ensure smooth collection processes.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and support process automation and standardization initiatives.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and local financial regulations.
Provide regular reports and insights to management regarding team performance, risks, and improvement areas.
Maintain clear documentation and internal controls across all collection activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
English level – B2+, both verbal and written
5+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, Revenue Accounting, or Collections
2+ years in a leadership role, ideally in a global, fast-paced environment
Understanding of Order-to-Cash lifecycle, including payment posting, customer communication, and provision calculation
Proven ability to lead through change, implement process improvements, and drive team performance
Solid working knowledge of credit analysis, financial reporting, and collections techniques (e.g., skip tracing)
Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
Experience with SAP and advanced Excel/reporting tools are highly appreciated
