Responsibilities
1️. SAP PS & PPM Solution Design and Implementation
✔ Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP PS and PPM configurations.
✔ Design and configure Project Structures (WBS, Networks, Milestones, Activities) in SAP PS.
✔ Implement Portfolio & Project Management (PPM) structures, including project categories, approval workflows, and financial integration.
✔ Configure budgeting and cost allocation methodologies in SAP PS for project cost control.
✔ Define and implement multi-project planning and execution strategies.
2. Project Budgeting, Cost Control, and Financial Integration
✔ Set up budget planning, monitoring, and availability control within SAP PS & PPM.
✔ Integrate SAP PS/PPM with SAP FI-CO (Financial Accounting & Controlling) for real-time cost tracking.
✔ Design and implement overhead distribution and settlements in project systems.
✔ Automate financial processes, including CAPEX tracking, cost distribution, and revenue recognition.
✔ Implement solutions for multi-project cost allocation using SAP PPM financial planning.
3. Resource Management and Project Execution
✔ Configure resource management tools to optimize workforce allocation across projects.
✔ Enable real-time project execution tracking and performance monitoring.
✔ Integrate SAP PPM with SAP HR (Human Resources) and SAP MM (Materials Management) for efficient resource and procurement planning.
✔ Implement forecasting and workload balancing methodologies within project portfolios.
✔ Define and maintain project approval and governance workflows.
4. Integration and Reporting
✔ Ensure seamless integration of SAP PS & PPM with SAP S/4HANA, FI-CO, MM, SD, RE-FX, and BW.
✔ Set up project analytics dashboards and KPI tracking using SAP Fiori and SAP Analytics Cloud.
✔ Implement real-time scenario modeling and profitability analysis using SAP PPM.
✔ Develop standard and customized project reporting tools for financial forecasting and risk assessment.
✔ Ensure compliance with corporate governance, industry regulations, and internal audit controls.
5️. User Training, Documentation, and Support
✔ Provide end-user training and workshops for project managers and finance teams.
✔ Develop user manuals, training materials, and best practice guides.
✔ Provide post-Go-Live support, troubleshooting, and continuous system optimization.
✔ Collaborate with business users to identify areas for improvement and process automation.
Required Skills
Strong expertise in SAP PS & PPM configuration, customization, and best practices.
Proficiency in Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Networks, Cost Planning, and Budgeting in SAP PS.
Knowledge of portfolio management functionalities, project prioritization, and financial integration in SAP PPM.
Experience integrating SAP PS/PPM with FI-CO, MM, SD, and RE-FX for end-to-end project tracking.
Strong project management and business process optimization skills.
Ability to analyze large-scale project financials, CAPEX, and OPEX planning.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to work with executives, IT teams, and business users.
Experience in agile and waterfall project methodologies.
