We believe in fairness and choose to be honest, transparent and authentic in everything we do.Key Responsibilities: · Month End Tasks: Coordination with Kazakhstan Outsource Provider (KOP) who maintain local 1C Ledger. Reviewing KOPs work and comparing to primary Oracle Ledger and preparing adjustments where necessary.· Monthly Reconciliations: Completion of reconciliations between local KOP 1C system and Oracle system for all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis. Investigation and closing any non-GAAP adjustments. Additional reconciliation support for other EMECA entities· Accounts Payable: Coordination of new Vendor Set-Up. Short Term – posting of Invoices in Oracle (c50-80 a month), with future plans to move this to shared services, at which point this will move to oversight· General Accounting: Coordinate with Global Shared Services (WBS), clearing and running of Accounts Payable (including Vendor creation), Accounts Receivable, Cash Management and Fixed Assets.· Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: · Effective communicator in English and Kazakh and/or Russian.· Qualified accountant with IFRS and Kazakhstan GAAP knowledge.· Confident with ERP systems, 1C is a must and Oracle is a nice to have (Oracle knowledge not essential).· Experience of completing reconciliations across multiple ledgers and/or systems.Founded in 1871, Weir is a world leading engineering business with a purpose to make mining operations smarter, more efficient and sustainable.
