Our client - An International FMCG company is looking for Chief Accountant in Almaty.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local tax regulations, and corporate financial policies.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Supervise and mentor the accounting team, ensuring efficiency and professional development.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions.
• Monitor cash flow, cost control, and financial planning to support business objectives.
• Improve and optimize accounting processes and ERP system utilization.
• Support senior management with financial insights and strategic planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax regulations.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP or similar).
• Fluent in English
