MAIN JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for all work associated with accounting and tax issues.
• Maintain financial accounting ledgers to enable the production of accurate financial reports in a timely manner.
• Ensure that the Accounting Department meets the needs of its customers by providing high quality service & information to all users.
• Ensure tax compliance in all areas. Act as key point of contact with Tax authority.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Responsible for the timely compilation of the monthly and annual closings including the communication of the closing timetable within the organization
• Conducts a thorough review of all monthly reports and financial statements prior to the submission to HQ or authorities in order to make corrections if needed
• Control payroll calculation and accurate records of payroll transactions. Ensures compliance with local payroll legislation.
• SAP Power (Key) User
• Prepare reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts monthly and ensure that any resulting issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Provide reconciliations between statutory accounts, management accounts and tax accounts.
• Prepares the annual statutory financial statements
• Review of contracts from tax and accounting perspective

JOB EXPERIENCE

• Experience in accounting in international companies (min. 3 years).Vast knowledge of all local tax regulations, local GAAP and IFRS
