An international FMCG (food) company is looking for Trade marketing specialist, location Almaty.
Position Purpose:
Responsible for effective contribution to management of framework of relationships between company and the trade by executing and implementing strategic business building programs cascaded by CIS Trade Marketing team.
The incumbent will be responsible for customer & trade engagement by taking full responsibility for in-store execution with POSM/PPOSM/TPOSM guidelines and installment annual plan, channel management, annual promo calendar planning & negotiation with clients and implementation with further analysis of effectiveness.
Trade Marketing Specialist will work closely with the distributor, CM & KAMs and be involved in the annual process of negotiations with TOP MT chains to ensure investment efficiency and maximum accuracy for effective trade terms for listings and annual portfolio presence in-store.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate for the position is an analytical thinker and has an ability to turn numbers into a story. She/he has a minimum 1.5 years of experience in FMCG industry on the similar position, being a fluent user of Ms.Office products with major focus on Ms.Excel (will be checked with a task). She/he possesses a set of soft skills helping one solve tasks which need team-work, guidance and follow-up
Job Responsibilities:
Trade Investment Management:
• Responsible for listing reporting on monthly basis including control of trade spends allocated to off/on invoice discounts, listings, retro bonus, placement, trade terms, etc. Full responsibility on document compliance and financial transparency as per procedure ensuring timely preparation of supporting documents and debit note cross-check
• Liable for ensuring compliance with trade marketing promotional strategy under the frameworks of RGM stream Promo Efficiency & Effectiveness with responsibility on guiding field force through the process and being a SPOC for analytical instruments such as promo tracker, promo planner, expense report and investment projection tool
• Active involvement in negotiations on trade terms across all trade channels on local level – guiding through better portfolio penetration, visibility strategy and overall B2B execution excellence
• Consistently analyze Trade Channels’ trends, patterns and activities of competitors in order to ensure maximum compliance with TM strategy and execution with excellence. Bear full responsibility for Trade Marketing budget allocated to the country. Analyze, assess and recommend on optimization as per market reality on a regular basis B2B & B2C Promotional Cycle:
• Responsible for leading annual promo calendar with detailed focus per channel and per modern trade account including the efficiency cycle of planning (baseline, incrementality, ROI), mechanics development, execution, post-promo analysis according to the metrics applicable in the company
• Liable for planning and implementing local motivational programs and responsible for acting as a liaison between CIS TM team and local field force to translate special motivational programs and incentive plans into market-specific insights Visibility:
• Have full responsibility for all kinds of TM equipment (POSM|PPOSM|TPOSM) across all channels - investment split, manufacturing/ordering calendar, negotiation with suppliers, unification of the designs as per brand guideline, installment plan with an address program per wave. Collect actual data of inventory penetration and track the updates of in-store presence on a regular basis for maximum visibility
• Leading negotiation cycles of TM operational plan and execution with excellence with modern trade clients to ensure PVM penetration and impulse-driven sales maximization
• Manage planogram development & regular review across all channels, cross-functional alignment and implementation into regular workflow of the clients. Be responsible for visibility compliance with PVM standards and analyze the PICOS on regular basis Cross-Functional Interaction:
• Work closely and regularly with the distributor for TM operational plans alignment, cost analysis, budget efficiency maximization and in-store execution improvement • Be responsible for delivering trainings to the Field Force teams during launches, rejuvenations, reactivations in terms of TM selling story and customer development • Guide MT responsible salesforce into better trends of execution with excellence via doing regular and joint store-checks according to the standards applicable to
