Your day-to-day:

• Determine the applicability of mandatory conformity assessment procedures (certification, declaration) within the framework of the EAEU TR requirements and national legislation.

• Organize and support the process of submitting applications for certification and registering declarations of conformity with authorized bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other countries in the region.

• Coordinate the collection of product samples and their transfer to accredited testing laboratories and certification bodies.

• Prepare and ensure the completeness of technical and permitting documentation required for testing and obtaining sanitary and epidemiological certificates.

• Evaluate and recommend testing laboratories and conformity assessment bodies, including an analysis of their accreditation and technical capabilities.

• Conclude and administer contracts with laboratories, certification bodies, and other participants in the conformity assessment process.

• Organize and support inspection control of certified products by authorized bodies, including participation in inspection audits at production sites.

• Monitor the validity periods of certificates and declarations of conformity and promptly initiate their renewal or update.

• Ensure the registration of declarations of conformity in national information systems, if necessary.

• Participate in the analysis, development, and implementation of regulatory requirements (EAEU Technical Regulations, national standards, and regulations), and represent the Company's interests in interactions with government agencies and industry associations.

• Monitor legislative changes in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and other Central Asian countries and provide expert assessments of their impact on business.

• Plan and monitor the budget related to certification processes, identifying cost optimization opportunities.

• Develop and update the Company's internal procedures, instructions, and standards for product conformity assessment.

Who we're looking for:

• Higher education (preferably in quality, international relations, standardization, chemistry, technology, or related disciplines).
• Have at least 3 years of experience in certification, technical regulation, or product compliance control. Preferably in FMCG industry.
• Advanced knowledge of technical regulations and international standards (ISO).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Russian is preferrable. Kazakh would be an advantage.
• Well-developed IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAP, PLM).
• Advanced analytical skills, root cause analysis, understanding of lean methodology.
• Knowledge of the requirements of the EAEU technical regulations (including those for tobacco and nicotine-containing products).
• Understanding of the national legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries regarding product declaration/certification.
• Experience in working with regulatory documentation.
• Ability to analyze large volumes of regulatory information and prepare expert opinions.
• Developed communication skills and experience interacting with government agencies and external partners.
• Project management skills and a focus on meeting deadlines.
