Key Responsibilities:
Monthly calculation of financial and economic indicators in the GERP accounting system
Period closing and preparation of monthly financial statements
Verification of primary accounting documents submitted for payment (advance reports); approval of AP in the GERP system
Preparation of quarterly VAT reports in the GTAX system
Preparation of expense registers for Corporate Income Tax purposes
Submission of quarterly statistical reports, including those for the National Bank
Organization of accounting processes to ensure complete and reliable financial information for internal and external users
Conducting inventory of material and fixed assets via the TAMS corporate system (as of June 1 and December 1 each year)
Implementation and control of internal procedures to ensure proper execution of business transactions and documentation
Participation in the setup and management of the accounting information system to meet financial, tax, statistical, and management accounting requirements
Organization and maintenance of accounting registers using modern IT tools
Accurate and timely reflection of all business operations, asset movements, revenues, expenses, and obligations
Control over registration of source accounting documents
Timely payment of taxes, fees, and insurance premiums to relevant authorities and funds
Interaction with external auditors during annual audits
Archiving of accounting documents in compliance with internal regulations
Support to other departments on accounting and finance-related matters
Completion of mandatory company e-trainings on time
Execution of additional tasks assigned by management
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Economics or Finance
Languages: Proficiency in Russian and English
Work Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar or leadership position
Skills & Knowledge:
Deep understanding of accounting and financial reporting legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Knowledge of tax, currency, and anti-corruption laws (including AML/CFT regulations)
Familiarity with corporate accounting systems (GERP, TAMS, GTAX)
Experience with financial statement preparation, inventory control, and tax documentation
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to support cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with company policies
Awareness of internal ethics and dress code standards (Smart casual)
Adherence to company regulations, the Code of Ethics, and local legal requirements
