About This Opportunity:

Production Power Engineer is responsible for controlling rational power consumption, ensure uninterrupted power generation and H&S regarding electricity.

What You Can Expect from The Role:

• Arrange technically correct exploitation and in-time repair of power equipment and power systems;
• Make a maintenance schedule for power equipment and power systems and ensure its implementation;
• Arrange technically correct exploitation of diesel generators, and make a maintenance schedule and ensure its implementation;
• Ensure uninterrupted power generation, control rational power consumption at the enterprise, monitor consecutive power saving regime;
• Manage the process of organizing and planning performance of electric shops and units, developing schedules for repair of power equipment and power systems, making power generation and consumption plans for the enterprise, setting power consumption norms and regimes;
• Ensure making of applications for purchase of electric equipment, materials, spare parts along with relevant calculations, for providing the enterprise with electric power and connecting to additional power supply companies, for development of measures, which are aimed at reducing the usage of energy resources and applying new machinery called to contribute to more reliable, efficient and safer operation of the power units, as well as to higher labor force efficiency;
• Take participation in development of plans on perspective development of the electrical facilities, plans on improvement of the production capacity; take part in making proposals on reconstruction and/or technical upgrade of the enterprise, on application of means intended for complex mechanization and automation of production processes; take part in consideration of projects suggesting reconstruction and modernization of the system supplying the company and its divisions with power; take part in creating technical tasks on projection of new and reconstruction of the existing energy units;
• Give an opinion about projects, take part in testing and commissioning of power generation units and networks in industrial exploitation;
• Arrange development of measures to improve the efficiency of the fuel and energy resources, the reliability and efficiency of power generation devices, to prevent failures, to provide safe and favorable work conditions for their exploitation;
• Control implementation of H&S requirements, manuals for exploitation of power generation units and use of electrical equipment and networks;
• Arrange registration and analysis of electric power usage, technical and economic indicators of the electrical equipment, failures and their reasons;
• Arrange exchange of experience in exploitation of power equipment, economizing and rational use of fuel and energy resources, contributing to achievement of high results in exploitation of power units;
• Ensure improvement of management at electrical equipment sites, lead testing and rationalization of worksites, introduce progressive methods of repairing and exploiting power equipment;
• manage the department personnel and company divisions, which deal with power supply of the company

What You Bring:

• Knowledge of structure of production power supply in the company;
• Production capacities, technical characteristics, construction features and work regimes of the electrical equipment and energy using devices, and their exploitation rules;
• Knowledge of rules of accepting and handing over equipment after assembly and repair;
• English – upper intermediate
• Knowledge of MS Office, SAP
