Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead the regular review of measurable and achievable flight safety goals and objectives.
• Develop, implement, and regularly review the Flight Safety Policy in line with safety objectives, the Company’s scale and complexity of operations, RK legislation, international standards, and recommended safety practices.
• Organize an independent and effective Safety Management System to identify, assess, and mitigate safety risks.
• Develop and regularly review SMS processes and procedures.
• Oversee the electronic flight safety database and ensure information remains accurate and up to date.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of hazard identification and risk management processes.
• Prepare materials and organize Flight Safety Review Board meetings.
• Prepare quarterly and annual flight safety reports.
• Make decisions and lead internal investigations of violations and other abnormal operational safety events.
• Lead internal investigations of aviation incidents.
• Ensure the Company’s representatives participate in investigations of accidents and serious incidents.
• Report safety events and liaise with authorized bodies during investigations of aviation accidents and incidents.
• Develop SMS training programs and deliver SMS training for personnel.
• Analyze the effectiveness of SMS training and revise programs when necessary.
• Prepare and publish flight safety bulletins and information materials.
• Maintain and promote the reward and recognition system within the SMS framework.

• Secondary specialized aviation and/or engineering technical education with at least 10 years of experience in civil aviation; and/or experience in quality management and flight safety management with at least 5 years of experience in civil aviation.
• At least 1 year of experience in a managerial position.
• Certificate or diploma in the fundamental principles of SMS.
• Certificate in aviation accident investigation.
• Audit certification is preferred.
• Knowledge of Russian and Kazakh languages; English at Intermediate level.
