Job Description: As a Manager of the Social Projects Department at NU Impact Foundation, you will lead the development and execution of high-impact social startups.
This role goes beyond coordination - you will be expected to build, structure and drive projects from idea to implementation, ensuring measurable outcomes and long-term sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Leading end-to-end development and implementation of social and startup-oriented initiatives;
- Structuring projects with clear logic, KPIs, impact metrics and sustainability models;
- Managing stakeholders across the University ecosystem, startups, partners and external organizations;
- Driving execution and ensuring timely delivery of results, not just processes;
- Overseeing budgets, resource allocation and financial planning of projects;
- Identifying and developing new initiatives, partnerships and growth opportunities;
- Contributing to strategic planning and development of the Foundation’s programs.
Desired Academic Programme(s): Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management, Social Sciences or related fields
Desired Skills:
Strong strategic thinking and project management skills, with the ability to independently structure and deliver initiatives;
Experience in leading projects, teams or cross-functional collaboration;
Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills;
Experience in innovation ecosystems, startups, social impact or entrepreneurship is highly preferred;
Understanding of impact measurement, sustainability and program effectiveness;
Experience with budgeting, financial planning and resource management;
Background in business development, startup acceleration or venture ecosystem is a strong advantage;
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management, Social Sciences or related fields;
Kazakh, Russian, English (Upper-Intermediate+).
