Job Title: Credit controller

Location: Almaty, Kazakhstan

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with clients regarding invoice payments and ensure compliance with contractual payment terms.
• Monitor and control outstanding invoices; follow up on overdue payments.
• Handle client requests related to reconciliation acts, AVRs, and electronic invoices (ESF).
• Ensure compliance with GCTP and OTC processes:
  • Timely client calls and email reminders for overdue balances.
  • Notify clients about Stop-Credit status when applicable.
• Prepare and send official claims and pre-litigation notices for unpaid debts.
• Daily monitoring of payments and removal of Stop-Credit status upon full payment.
• Accurately record all client interactions in SUN Collect and maintain proper documentation.
• Update client information in 1C (contact details, registration data, payment terms, billing cycles, etc.).
• Respond to client and internal inquiries within your area of responsibility, including shipment details reflected in invoices.
• Archive client documents (contracts, reconciliation acts, AVRs).
• Regularly generate and distribute reconciliation acts from 1C to verify client balances.
• Sign AVRs and reconciliation acts issued from 1C.
• Prepare documentation for debt write-off over 360 days when recovery is unlikely.
• Weekly review of assigned clients for unmatched payments.
• Compile documentation packages for legal proceedings when necessary.
• Control overdue balances exceeding 60 and 90 days.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of accounting systems (1C experience preferred).
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
