Andersen is hiring a Data Scientist to support an automotive e-commerce platform for pre-owned vehicles, using data to improve customer experience, engagement, and online sales performance.
The customer is a diversified business group in the automotive domain providing vehicle distribution, aftersales services, leasing, used-car programs, and commercial solutions through a nationwide network of showrooms and service centers. The company focuses on long-term partnerships with global brands and delivers technology-driven customer experiences across all stages of the automotive lifecycle.
The project is focused on designing and delivering a user-centric e-commerce platform for pre-owned vehicle sales, aimed at improving customer experience, increasing engagement, and driving online sales. The solution supports customer retention and acquisition by providing valuable digital services and a seamless purchasing journey.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing segmentation and clustering frameworks across customers, products, channels, or lifecycle stages.
- Selecting appropriate statistical and analytical methods based on business objectives, data maturity, and segment granularity (macro and micro-segments).
- Independently owing analysis from problem definition through insight delivery.
- Identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies across sales, post-purchase behavior, and customer engagement.
- Translating analytical results into clear, actionable insights for business and leadership stakeholders.
- Building high-quality dashboards and analytical views using Power BI.
- Supporting decision-making with data-backed recommendations and scenario analysis.
- Integrating and analyzing data from multiple sources, including enterprise and transactional systems, web and app behavioral data, digital marketing and advertising data, CRM and customer interaction data.
Must-haves:
- Experience as a Data Scientist for 4+ years.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and/or R for data analysis, statistics, and modeling, using tools and frameworks such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and working environments like Jupyter.
- Experience working with large, multi-source datasets, including behavioral or event-level data.
- Solid understanding of applied statistics, segmentation, and clustering techniques, with the ability to justify analytical choices.
- Experience working with automotive, retail, consumer, or similar data-rich business domains.
- Ability to quickly understand business processes such as customer lifecycle, sales, service, and channel performance.
- Strong analytical ownership and ability to work independently.
- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with SAP BW, SAP ECC, or SAP data objects.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM data structures.
- Understanding of ETL concepts, data mappings, and integration workflows.
- Exposure to Informatica or similar data integration tools.
- Exposure to machine learning or predictive analytics use cases.
